‘Stuck In The Avant Garde’, shows footage from an art opening the artist Maurice Doherty attended at Schalter Project Space, Berlin, in 2009. During the Vernissage, Doherty got locked in the gallery toilet for over 3 hours. The video shows the gallerist and three other exhibition attendees attempting to open lavatory door to release the artist. The footage was filmed by a visitor to the exhibition and acquired by the artist a few years after the incident.
